Traders in the Gaza Strip are advertising that the new iPhone 17 Pro Max has arrived in Gaza, just days after its global launch and even before its official release in Israel.
According to Israeli Channel 14 journalist Ahikam Himelfarb, mobile phone stores in Gaza confirmed that quantities of the iPhone 17 were smuggled into the territory within the past 24 hours.
The official global launch date for the iPhone 17 was September 9, while the device is not scheduled to become available in Israel until September 26.
In Gaza, the iPhone 17 Pro Max is being sold for 38,000 shekels (approximately $9,000), far above its retail price in other markets
