On June 19, 2025, the IDF and Shin Bet carried out a strike and eliminated the terrorist Muhammad Nasser Ali Kanita in the Gaza City area.
Kanita was a member of the military intelligence unit of Hamas’s Al-Furqan Battalion. He infiltrated Israeli territory during the deadly October 7 massacre and held Emily Damari in his home at the beginning of the war.
An IDF spokesperson stated: “The IDF and Shin Bet will continue to act forcefully against the terrorists who took part in the deadly massacre on October 7.”
